review this week
After watching this film for the zillionth time, there’s no doubt in my mind that this “little doggy” belongs at the top echelon of any list having to do with great crime pictures. This film put a certain Quentin Tarantino on the map back in 1992, gave various actors their springboard onto greener pastures and clocked me over the head with hopes of creating original screenplays myself. If you want a solid “bad guys” flick with amazing dialogue, a simple yet involving plotline, engaging characters brought to life by first-rate actors, an extremely memorable soundtrack, a seemingly experienced eye behind the camera, action, drama, humor and many outstanding stand-alone scenes and lines…RESERVOIR DOGS will give you all that and a taco. A lot of people have the impression that this is one of the most violent movies out there, but the truth is that the most sadistic scenes in this film are actually not shown on-screen. The acts are alluded to, implied or heard, but you really don’t ever see a man cutting off another man’s ear on-screen. You hear it and see the end results, making the impact of the shocking act…that much stronger.p/s: nak menyibuk jugak bapak orang nie......hahahha
